Know what you actually earned.

For months, every time I checked my bank account the total made it look like I was earning a lot. Deep down I knew not all of it was income, some was lent money, or funds just passing through.

I let it slide, until I started losing track of how much certain people had actually paid me for certain things. Finding out meant scrolling my whole transaction history. I got fed up and built Tabtrac to track a year of income and record new payments as they land.

It worked. I could finally see a spread-out view of my income and know what I actually earned, and whether that was more or less than the months before.
